I'm totally cutting close the prep on my race car.  I wasn't really 100% even sure I was financially and emotionally prepared to do go forward with racing this weekend until about a week ago.  This morning I finally got the car towed on the flatbed to shop and checked up with them whether we had all the necessary parts to have the car dynoed by wednsday.  I told them 2 weeks ago that I had a deadline that I needed the car running perfectly by thursday night so I can get the car to Infineon Raceway on friday for testing.  Since my car is taking priority over Andrie's I'm hopefull that they will get the tranny patched up, head and block reassembled, put the motor in the car and get it dynoed.... its cutting it SUPER close, but I already invested so much on all these new parts... and now I REALLY want to make this huge race.  Apparently, this is the mother of all NASA HC races for the year as we may have the entire track to ourselves for our race. On sunday it sounds like we have to share with the US Touring Cars.  Anyway, if you are interested in coming to cheer me on or just want to see how cool club racing can be, come to Infineon Raceway this weekend.   I have attached additional schedule information, also if you plan to come, you should send me an email or call me on friday to confirm that my car is actually ready and/or I didn't crash my car during friday practice.   Race weekend Discussions: NASA Forum and Honda-Tech

HPDE Group Definitions  
HDPE 1 Beginner- Instructor assigned, passing on main straights only. NOTE: GROUP 2 = GROUP 1 but without instructors assigned.
HDPE 2 Novice- Group 1 graduates that would like more seat time in Group 1 w/o an instructor. Passing on main straights only.
HDPE 3 Intermediate- Passing areas more liberal and increasing as day progresses.
HPDE 4 Advanced- Passing allowed anywhere using caution
