The reason I hadn't updated my site for almost a week was due to the fact I was at the shop (Redzone Performance) just about all day long after work trying to get the race car all sorted out.  We installed the motor tuesday night, got the wiring done wednsday, and finally got it dynoed at the last minute on thursday night.  I had already planned to practice with Trackmasters on friday... anyway, friday testing went pretty well even though I didn't get much tracktime.  Saturday was rough, a car caused a serious melee of accidents on turn 3 which caused a spinning car to come crashing into the side of mine as I tried to avoid the accident.  My car looked bad... but with the help of a bunch of great guys, I got the car back out on the track for both races.  I'm guessing it is about $2500 worth of damage to my car unfortunately.  At least I'm still in good health and got some proper rest last night... over the last week I was averaging only 3-4 hours of sleep per night.  I hadn't been that exhausted in a long time.  I'll be writing a more detailed account of the past week and with pictures soon.
