Andrie organized a fun end of year indoor karting event for all the members and friends of Prima Racing. In all the participants were Sean (crew), Chris (crew), Jimmy (crew + soon to be racer), Charlie (crew), Telly (racer), Faisal (racer), Jim (racer), Andrie (racer), Julie (Andrie's wife), and I.  It was nice to see everyone, I hadn't seen everyone in a while because the last race Andrie and I went alone.  The crew performed awesome and made this year really happen for Prima Racing.  Anyway, I arrived at the karting track hung over and sick, but I wasn't gonna let the crew beat me. :) Andrie, Sean, and Chris got a practice session in before everyone showed up, I was hoping that that would tire them out so I would have the edge during the race remembering how tired Andrie was last time we were there.  We go out for qualifying... amazingly I get pole!  I rule!.. and I'm even hung over... The race starts and about 6 laps in Andrie dive bombs me in the front strip hairpin... damn, I lost my lead.  Through the race I stay on Andrie's ass and weave through traffic, but I was unable to recapture the lead. Andrie finished first 2 seconds in front of me... oh well, at least I didn't let the crew beat me.  I also got the fastest lap of the day, faster Andrie... at least I got something to feel good about, as he's my forever nemesis.  All things said, I think my kart was exceptionally good, but this is the second time this scenario occured at GoKartRacer, me taking pole but Andrie passing me at one point in the race. Arg.  Afterwards we all went to Jim's place to have a nice big juicy burger. That was a fun time.  Thanks to Jim & Margie and the whole Prima Racing gang!

Race results:
Andrie, Kenji, Faisal, Chris, Sean, (rest I'm not 100% sure) Telly, Jimmy, Jim, Charlie, Julie.  The big upset was Chris beating Sean. Sean supposedly had been a cheating bastard and practicing weeks in advance for the race. My fastest lap on Monza track for the day: 29.19  Update: Talked to Telly, apparently he and Jim got together and got stuck in the wall on lap 1.  Pictures.
