I've been happily abusing my 16 year old Miata the last couple years driving back and forth to San Francisco and for regular grocery getting duties... but recently I realized that I was getting old. I need soemthing a little more substantial and a bit less rickety. Don't get me wrong, the Miata was great, its cheap, reliable, and super fun to drive. I had some complaints about mine though... someone had ripped a hole in the roof before I even owned it and I did a lousy patch job, so in the winter, it would be virtually raining inside. A smelly mildewing car isn't fun. The car's suspension is pretty aggressive as well, which isn't really a problem, but while driving on bumpy roads the entire car would shudder due to the flexing chassis. I'm gonna miss the Miata, but the S2000 is a better car in almost every way. The only thing I'll miss about the Miata is that I didn't have to worry about having it carjacked or smashed into while parked in San Francisco. Oh well, I've grown up... just a little, I deserve a slight upgrade I guess... or I'm becoming a wimp. Anyway, somehow I've brainwashed myself into justifying it. S2000 Pictures
